What is Chi Gong?

Chi Gong is a self-healing practice with roots in ancient China. It is an important part of both martial arts and Taoist tradition. The term "Chi" refers to energy, while "Gong" means work. Therefore, Chi Gong is all about cultivating vital energy in our body, mind, and spirit. Today, Chi Gong involves a combination of movement, breathing techniques, mobility exercises, myofascial release, meditation, and much more. The ultimate aim is to balance the five elements in the body, clear blockages in major organs, reduce stress and promote inner transformation. 

As part of Xu’s practice, She teaches Chi Gong to her clients and students. This exercise is a great tool for self-healing and complements the Chi Nei Tsang work she does in private sessions. By practicing Chi Gong, individuals can enhance their body awareness, calm their minds, and nurture their spirit. Moreover, it is an excellent way to channel the energetic transmission of the Taoist tradition.
